Everything you need and more... The inviting Jardine Function Centre at Calderwood Hall (a three star Guest House in KwaZulu Natal) is designed for entertainment. It is beautifully draped, air-conditioned and has bronzed chandeliers, magical fairy lights and a covered dance floor with views of the Southern Drakensberg in the distance. It opens up onto the gardens, where you will be able to look onto a water feature comprising a large koi pond and fountain framed by a beautiful old willow tree. The entire area has uplighting and this makes for a magical image in the evenings. There are beautifully manicured lawns surrounding the pool area, encouraging guests to go outside and enjoy the beauty of the surrounds. The bar is a ‘welcoming watering hole for the gentry'. You can have either a buffet or a served meal. A maximum of 150 guests can be seated in the Jardine Function Centre. The pretty and tranquil thatched stained glass chapel is consecrated (and multi-denominational) and boasts wooden church pews and seats up to 120 guests. Alternatively you can use the gazebo in the front garden. As Calderwood Hall is becoming an increasingly popular wedding venue, we are booked up well in advance so have introduced mid week wedding and winter wedding offers as another option. They attract a particularly competitive venue hire.
